About ACANS

ACANS stands for Association of Cameroonians in Nova Scotia, one of the four Atlantic Provinces of Canada.

ACANS was founded in 2018 by a group of pioneers who noticed that the Cameroonian community was growing and hence the need for a formally recognized entity to cater for their needs especially of the for new arrivals. ACANS soon got registered with the Nova Scotia Registry of Joint Stock Companies and has kept an active registration and good standing to this day.
